How Domain Setup Works

Step 1: Connect Your Domain

Users bring their own domain(s) to Mission Inbox. No need to purchase domains through the platform.

Step 2: Auto-Push DNS Records

Mission Inbox automatically pushes the required DNS records to your domain registrar. Supported auto-push providers:

• Cloudflare — 1-click DNS automation
• GoDaddy — 1-click DNS automation
• Spaceship — 1-click DNS automation

For other registrars, DNS records can be configured manually using the provided values.

Step 3: Start Sending

Once DNS propagation completes, the domain is authenticated and ready to send. MI Shield protection is active from day 1.

Email Authentication Protocols

SPF (Sender Policy Framework)

Specifies which servers are authorized to send email on behalf of your domain. Prevents spoofing and improves deliverability.

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)

Adds a cryptographic signature to outbound emails. Verifies the email was sent from an authorized server and wasn't modified in transit.

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance)

Tells receiving servers how to handle emails that fail SPF and DKIM checks. Mission Inbox configures DMARC policies to protect your domain from spoofing.

DNS Health Monitoring

Mission Inbox continuously monitors DNS configuration:

• Automatic detection of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC issues
• Alerts when DNS records are misconfigured or missing
• Proactive notifications before deliverability is impacted
• Real-time DNS health dashboard

Dedicated IPs

Every Mission Inbox customer receives dedicated IP addresses:

• 2-3 dedicated IPs depending on volume
• Automatic IP warmup for new IPs
• Separate IPs per workload type (Sales, Marketing, Transactional, Financial)

On the Pro plan, additional domains beyond what's included are $2 per domain connected.
